I had to write about this product after using it and speaking to the company's customer service. I bought the kit thinking it would get the spot I was hoping for, but even after measuring you never know. Well unfortunately it didn't get to the spot I wanted on my 2016 GTI despite measuring and thinking about it. So I contacted support and informed them that the cable length was about 6 inches short. and that I would recommend extending the USB transistor cable an additional 12 inches to ensure it would fit other cars as well (since I'm sure others have had the same issue). They contacted me straight away and said they would take it to their factory and see what they say. Lo and behold they came back a few days later and said the corrected version was sent free of charge! The redesigned version not only came with additional adapters, but also had an additional 12 inches in length! With that extra 12 inches, I was able to mount the camera almost 100% hidden behind the rearview mirror and it worked. Perfect. Have been using it for over a couple of weeks now and have never had any problems with it. I would recommend everyone to buy this.
