Low Battery in Security and Surveillance System

I used to love them until I realized that if you have even a cloudy day the sensors won't work that night! I'm in Florida where it's light most of the time and these things are totally unreliable for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I like the idea of the sensors.

Pros

1/2 MILE WIRELESS TRANSMISSION RANGE - Solar motion sensor picks up alarms up to 1/2 mile away (actual range will vary with terrain). This is a great solution even if you have a large perimeter or property to watch. The sensor uses advanced wireless transmission technology (FSK+FHSS) to avoid interference from wireless signals from other devices.
