I bought one of these to compare directly to the real Really Right Stuff BH-40 of which it is clearly a copy. Does it work like a ball head? Yes. But there's clearly a reason why a real RRS BH-40 costs as much as it does. The attention to detail and finishes are second to none. There's a reason you almost never find RRS products on the used car market. The owners keep them. They are an investment in the quality of your work. You can be perfectly fine with this product and never need anything more. But my advice is to try both. Better save some money and buy a genuine RRS product.
