Less than 5 minutes to remove the old ones and install this one. I just used a flathead screwdriver to pry the tabs on the old shocks and the old shocks slipped off. Just slide in the new ones, no need to remove the clips on the new shock absorbers. The new shock absorbers simply snap into place. After 15 years my old shock absorbers smashed my hood open while working on my engine. Oh. These new dampers keep the hood down and even help raise it. Overall I'm very happy with it.
