Review on 🚗 uxcell Matte Black Kidney Grille for BMW 3 Series E46 320i 325i 328i 330i Sedan (98-01) - Upgrade Your Car's Look! by Bill Garczynski

These replacement kidneys were for the e46 sedan (323i). They fit very well. They have a different attachment mechanism than the other types I've used in the past: they have "stands" with a small groove that you gently slide against the hood's mounting tabs. It's a solid holding mechanism - way better than anything I've seen in the past. They don't wobble and look very solid once installed. They needed a bit of dremel fitting where the hood latch attaches to the hood. I had to trim the inner "shell" of the grille about half an inch so it wouldn't get in the way of the latch when you pull it "up" to open the hood. Based on the fact that I've owned an e46 sedan for over 16 years and have replaced the kidney grilles a few times, I'm perfectly fine with a slight modification for a good fit. I like them a little more than other aftermarket types and even original BMW grills. Good price, solid fit. I liked them so much I bought a second set for my son's 323i right after I installed them on one of my 323i. I am planning to buy a 325Ci kit that needs to be replaced.
