Leaves creases on the skin on the doors
I briefly (10 minutes) put a container on the driver's side of my Macan. It was very comfortable so I took it off. During this time, a crease formed on the outer skin of the door. I could only imagine what would happen if you left the car there for the rest of your life. I tried removing some of the foam because it would be great to have some extra storage. It won't come off. I tried thinning it out with a razor blade but there were still wrinkles. I would not recommend if you are interested in reselling your vehicle.
