Review on Netac 2TB M.2 SSD NT01NV5000-2T0-E4X by Jnis Uptis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

In terms of price-quality ratio, and the quality and speed are at the productive level, this drive is a leader and cannot be found equal to it. There is also the flagship Netac7000, which is a little more expensive (at the moment it is about 800r and now costs 12190r). It should be borne in mind that the tests are tests with their maximum speed indicators, but in practice, for example, when copying a 35 GB movie under windows 10 and an AMD Ryzen 9 5950x processor (with Samsung 970 EVO Plus (3500 MB / s - read, PCIe 3.0, inserted in 4.0) on a Netac5000 (4400 MB/s - write, PCIe 4.0 inserted in 3.0 - it just so happened, yes, I know, I need to rearrange it, but still), the write speed will not exceed 2 gigabytes/sec. That's me I've seen people test both the Samsung 980 pro and other high-speed drives. It's more like a marketing ploy. That's why you won't really feel or notice the difference in speed between Netac5000 and 7000 or drives from other brands, only in some specific tasks. The maximum speed of PCIe 3.0 (x4) is about 4032 MB / s, PCIe 4.0 (x4) is about 8066 MB / s.

Pros
  • 1) The drive comes with a heatsink, not many competitors include it (and usually either bought separately, or the heatsink comes with the motherboard and not with each one). There are also 2 screws. 2) Price. The Chinese, apparently, dampen the price, and at the moment, of the trusted brands (I do not recommend ADATA ! ), only the Kingston drive without a heatsink and it has PCIe 3.0 is cheaper. And Netac5000 has 4.0!
Cons
