Review on πŸ”Š FIAMM 72102 Enhanced Freeway Blaster HIGH Note Horn by Aaron Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far, so good. Nice and loud. Good sound.

So, like many other Mazda CX-5 owners before 2016, I just got a low beep with my car. The sound was somehow low and monotonous, lost in traffic. The addition of this horn gave the sound a nice, familiar tremolo that's more reminiscent of a car of this size. So far so good: I haven't used a horn except for testing "in the wild" for example, so I'll have to update later. Installation (not exactly part of this ranking, but informative) was tricky but not overly difficult. There are some good videos and websites online that will show you what to do and I highly recommend checking them out. They really clarify the process. The biggest procedure was drilling out the hood rivets; then you take off the hood and everything is right in front of you. This kit contains everything you need [including mounting bracket, nut, ground strap and crimp connector] except the cable from the original horn to this horn and any splicing hardware that may be needed. It was a fun day and a very valuable sound upgrade.

Cons
