I use them to hold toys and other things together in my birdcage. In my video and photo you can see that I replaced almost all of the clips on the toys with these and used them to close the spring doors. The metal clips that come with some toys can be dangerous - they're difficult to open and remove, which means it's a major hazard if the bird gets stuck (I've had it, it's very traumatic!). With these plastic clips you can easily and quickly remove them from the bars of the cage. Big birds can destroy them, I don't know, but everyone I know uses them. Among other things, you can make beautiful chains to hang the toys underneath. I use them to keep the cage's "feeder door" closed as it is spring loaded and can cause problems if the bird squeezes it and gets stuck or crawls out etc. They are strong enough for my purposes and the price is right the number!
