Recently purchased from another seller at a store for bedroom use. It's quite small, maybe 8 x 8 or so, along with a half-side bathtub. In both low and high modes, it constantly blows out hot air and warms up my room pretty quickly; several degrees in 10 minutes. but he just keeps going. One night I set it up quietly and woke up in a sweat because it just kept blowing. I checked my room thermostat and it was 88 degrees. So yes. it heats the rooms. I gave it 3 stars because the thermostat doesn't seem to work properly when using the temperature control based on the room temperature. I would set it at 70° and it would keep heating up to and above 70°. I saw it go up to 77 or 78. But the machine said it was only 68° in the bedroom. Maybe because the room is small? I don't have this problem with my Lasko Tower fan which controls 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 etc.
