Works as it should. You get what you paid for. The glass is weak, as other reviewers have pointed out, but don't let that stop you (especially if you're on a budget and really want to enjoy the impressive flavor of a French Press). Just follow the instructions on the packaging which says to heat the jar first and don't pour the water right after boiling. FYI, the metal handle on the side is not attached to the top, so you need to be careful as well. After washing, do not shake the press, just hold the handle, it may fall or break! (?) So far I've been using it about 2-3 times a day for a week. I'm worried about how long it will last, but I'm still happy with the price I paid and I know it may not be with me forever. I can make about two cups of coffee from each brew, so it's good for couples. ;) For your health!
