This is absolutely amazing, it's overkill for my system at the moment, but I plan to benefit from it for a few years, combined with a few other updates. For my motherboard it should be 95W (for anyone wondering it's N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix)). I want to fry my $116 by doing something wrong. But I have to say that it was very easy. Pretty much remove the old fan, remove the old CPU, and then install the new ones. I ran into a small problem as the fan cables have a 4 pin connector while my motherboard only has a 3 pin connector. I've read that this would be fine, but the fan would be running at full speed all the time. (which he does, but I don't care now). The fan is audible, but not at a volume that would bother me (my 360 made more noise than this one). I bought it as a first step towards my goal of playing bf3 on high settings. Before I installed the CPU, BF3 didn't work, my CPU was maxed out and the game would skip many times, after installing the CPU, I can play on low settings, but it lags a bit when there's a lot of action, the CPU just hits about 45%. My terrible GPU and power supply is the next upgrade. I'm not a serious gamer but do enjoy spending a few hours here and there and this was a great upgrade at a great price if you ask me.
