Great Idea Poor Execution
I have a 97 inch kitchen opening and three very cute dogs. I wanted something long enough, freestanding, and strong enough that it didn't fit in the kitchen. The goals are quite long but the quality is terrible. I had to buy wood glue because. after the first day the gate began to crumble at the seams. The wood is an untreated species of wood and can be stained or stained to my liking. But the hassle of applying glue to all the seams took up a lot of my time. It does the job so I'm keeping it. You need some kind of quality control for this article. It might be a great product, but it has its own issues.
