I use these to add inserts to my 3D printed parts. And I rocked very fast, way better than the tapered tips. But I found that I ran into a small problem: the nut pulled back a bit when inserting. So I just added my own M4 nut to the tip and it's better, the only other complaint is that sometimes the plastic can get between the nut and the insert, but this only becomes an issue when you change the depth want.
