Good. but no? on Tips

Parts appear to be of good quality. But stakes don't come with spikes. Thermal plugs do not have a closed end like these. It's for injection molding or something like that.

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

These are injection molded inserts, not thermal inserts.

The thermal inserts that you insert into the 3D print with a soldering iron have a taper on one end for easier insertion. The inserts shown in the image have the same shape on both ends and are injection molded inserts, not heatset inserts. They are used in injection molding where they help in place and are flown around by the molten plastic. To find suitable heating inserts search for Revain, there are many such as B08ZJ6HNGK (not approved).

Pros
  • Soldering and Soldering Accessories
Cons
  • Something else

Perfect when I added my own nut.

I use these to add inserts to my 3D printed parts. And I rocked very fast, way better than the tapered tips. But I found that I ran into a small problem: the nut pulled back a bit when inserting. So I just added my own M4 nut to the tip and it's better, the only other complaint is that sometimes the plastic can get between the nut and the insert, but this only becomes an issue when you change the depth want.
