I am an accountant and needed a larger monitor to split the screen and load data into a complex tax program. I almost got a standard 16x9 4K TV and I know they work well but wanted to give it a try. This monitor is great! The text is very clear and easy to read. I'm not a gamer but I can say it would be great for watching movies. I made some YouTube videos for fun and they looked really good too. If there's one downside, if you're only running one program and it's full-screen, it's almost too wide, since both edges are out of your line of sight when you're sitting with your eyes in the usual 3-foot position on your desktop . used for computer reading glasses. When I didn't need the second window, I used Win 10 Snap to make the view half screen. When I needed a little more, I just grabbed the right edge and dragged it to about two-thirds of the screen. It just depends on what you need it for. I find it very versatile. And I haven't even tried his own software.
