It would take me many, many weeks of wearing to find out if this shoe will help with plantar fasciitis, but there is arch support, as in the sandals this company makes that I have. worn for a while. I read the reviews about sizing issues and ordered a half size larger than I wear and that was a mistake. These shoes were not small so I had to order my normal size.
