I found the instructions very confusing. So much so that I returned to this site to see if anything would help. In case you are wondering, the sticker is on the outside of the window. What you need to do is very, VERY gently remove the backing paper. Do this slowly, VERY SLOWLY, being careful not to let the sticker peel away from the sticky plastic side piece by piece - don't pull so fast that you leave the pointed parts behind or peel off. Really do 1/8 inch at a time. If you notice anything sticking to the paper or peeling away from the clear sheet, lift/secure it with the edge of your fingernail and make sure it stays in place on the clear sheet before proceeding. If you've done your job correctly, the entire decal should be fully intact on the sticky side of the clear film. Then place it exactly where you want it on your windshield. I didn't want to try it twice so I just smoothed it clean in one go. Then, BEFORE REMOVE THE PLASTIC, wipe the sticker with the edge of a credit card. Be sure. This will help the decal stick to your surface. Gently peel off the plastic and your decal should be firmly in place. After a deep breath and some stress I thought she looks amazing! This is the perfect picture of a Golden Retriever. I have no idea how long it will take, but it seems to be sticking pretty tight. If you're not the smart type and don't have the patience for that kind of caution I would choose a different product. Otherwise I would say do it. It's not difficult, just finicky.
