Connects cell phone to mobile devices

I can walk up and down stairs and into every room in the house and even on the front or back porch and my iPad never hiccups, slows down or pauses. It was completely different with the wireless router that I got from my DSL provider. I exercise by walking around the house with an iPad. I'm shooting on the stairs in our old house and other, smaller routers can't keep up like Ubiquiti. I have a usable signal on the front and back porches and almost to the barn. I even have a signal in the basement, two floors below the device. Setup is easy and many people on the internet have helpful websites on how to do it. It just seemed expensive when I was discussing the purchase. Now that I've gotten to use it and it's doing exactly what I bought it for, it looks like money well spent. Definitely worth the money. When I install Wi-Fi in the shed, Ubiquiti devices are put in there. Some Wi-Fi devices have weaker radio frequencies than others. They will be able to "hear" Ubiquiti, but they won't have the courage to answer loud enough for him to hear. My iPad allows me to move freely. My iPhone doesn't get that far with a smaller battery and possibly less WLAN transmission power. I can walk up and down stairs with my iPhone - a very noticeable improvement - but not on the porch. Laptops love Ubiquiti, games are now available in every room of the house.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
