Review on Enhanced Orange Printer Filament: Uncompromised Dimensional Accuracy by Phillip Hoover

It was very interesting to try the Taulman 910 as I have had excellent results with the Taulman in the past. I ordered Taulman 910 and Taulman 645 but unfortunately both packages were punctured which resulted in a leak. As a result, the thread absorbs moisture from the air, resulting in terrible layer adhesion/strength. When squeezing, the moisture is so bad that you hear hissing and popping as the water boils off. Luckily I have a food grade dehydrator so hopefully I can fix the problem but if you don't have a way to dry the floss then you probably shouldn't buy this floss. I don't know yet how good the filament is when dry, but I'm giving it 2 stars because it was unusable out of the box. Update: The thread may have been damaged by moisture. After three days of drying, the filament still evaporates during extrusion. Buy direct from Taulman instead of Amazon, even if there's a small extra charge, as they seem to care more about the packaging.
