It arrived with no instructions but hardly complicated. No drilling required, it fits perfectly into the existing carving in the tailgate. The clasps took some time with pliers, they weren't crimped properly. Spacers prevent it from rubbing against the skin, perfect. Cup holders, I agree, aren't needed, but the stoppers really don't need screws. They are pinned to stay in place, you can only insert them when you want, which is nice.
