Review on Drilax Diamond Ceramic Porcelain Granite by Joe Glass

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cutting was not very fast, but stable.

Laying a 10mm thick marble tile floor (my first tile project). I had to make a 4" hole for the main drain in the center of a 12" x 12" tile. I chose this product to get the job done. With the help of plumbers, he covered the water and kept it in the box. It also held the cut in place since it doesn't have a pilot drill guide. The power (older drill with less power) was when the drill punched through the bottom of the hole. I slightly missed the first hole and had to drill a new one in the second tile. Cut with ease. When the hole was partially through, the bit recessed slightly but was manageable. Cutting wasn't super fast, but it was stable. I don't know how long this drill will last or how it will work with other materials, but it has done a great job for me. The edge looked new when I cleaned it for storage. If I ever need to replace it, I'd happily buy it again.

Pros
  • We recommend holding the diamond hole saw between clamped pieces of wood as shown in the description.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
