Review on 🔧 Klein Tools D2000-28 8-Inch Heavy-Duty Diagonal Cutting Pliers with Angled Head: Ideal for Cutting ACSR, Screws, Nails, and Hardened Wire by Tim Ross

Needing a new pair of side cutters I did a lot of research before deciding on these dams. On paper they were everything I wanted: 1. Made in the USA - No cheap China crap for me - Check2. A GOOD BRAND - Klein has a solid reputation for quality tools at a professional level - Check3. good grades Despite some bad reviews, they looked like the winners - Check4. Not too cheap - I've learned that with tools you get what you pay for. At $31 they should be good quality right? - Check5. They actually work. Oh no! The pair I received look great but they were so tight they could barely be moved with two hands. It would be almost impossible to open or close them with one hand. I'm not a pushover - those dams were just poorly put together. I think I could hold them with both hands and use them for chest/tricep training, but they don't do well as wire cutters. Obviously no one has ever tested these cutters for performance. Where is the quality control? Maybe the boys from Klein. Well, I don't know what they do, but they don't go to the factory to make sure their tools actually work before sending them to the stores. Today they return to Revain and I'm back to square one looking for a new pair of wire cutters.
