I am using this with an old Genie garage door opener which should be compatible. It works, but there is a very annoying bug. Often when I push the button to open the garage door, it will start to open and then stop after pulling itself up about a foot. Then I have to press the button again to close the door again and then press it again to fully open it. Also, in many cases it won't open for a few seconds and I have to press the button several times to finally open it fully a second time. The door never fails, but I often have to sit in the driveway for about 20 seconds trying to push the button to get it to open properly again. I'm not sure if I have a faulty model that needs replacing or if it's just a common mistake when using it with an old model opener.
