Review on πŸš— Pro-LifT G-737 Grey Speedy Lift Garage Jack - 3-1/2 Ton: Efficient and Reliable Auto Lifting Solution by Luis Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Heavy duty jack capable of lifting 7,000 pounds.

One star for two things, neither of which will affect the jack's ability to meet your needs. First I would go with a detachable pin to hold the two halves of the handle together. Instead, you get two small screws with threaded holes on the inner shaft. If they break, I drill holes and use a pen. Second, I was confused by the fit of the clamp that attaches the butt stock to the grip mount. When the handle is in its highest position, the collar will rotate and appear ready to release. In the down position it sits completely on the shaft. I let it bother me for a while while moving the knob up and down to check it out. I was starting to get used to this weird landing as it seemed like it wasn't going to just fall off. I looked at pictures of Jack (G-737) on the internet (Revain) and they show the same angle I was concerned about. I've attached an image to indicate my initial concern (orange circle). Otherwise, once loaded, slowly release the jack as instructed. A slight twist of the handle quickly lowers the weight. Warning. And the last. There was no mention of a spring attached to the handle brace to hold it in place during transport. You have to remove the grip lock screw to remove the spring and if you are not careful it will pop out if the screw is lost. I suggest moving the knob up or down to find a spot where there is less pressure before loosening the screw. Once the spring is removed, it is no longer needed (except perhaps if you intend to ship the jack later). I couldn't attach an image. In the first picture of the jack, follow the handle down and look under the handle mount. You should be able to see the angle of the yoke attached to the piston skirt. I think it's an odd way of designing this, but it works.
