I have several grease fittings on my ATV that I can't access. It was the answer. TIP: You will need a flexible hose (Ace Hardware and others), screw it on by hand until it stops, then unscrew it a quarter turn. Use the loose fitting on the hose to slide the fitting on and position the grease gun in a convenient position. It fits very tightly to the faucet. If the grease leaks around the coupling and not into the fitting, it will not be fully applied to the fitting. Remember to wipe down the fitting with a paper towel or clean rag first - you don't want surface dirt getting into the bearings.
