Review on Gold Label Detailing Application Microfiber by John Fuentes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but looks good.

Label correct. Small things have a big impact. It is not a restorer, it is a DYE. Absorbed into oxidized porous surfaces damaged by weather and heat. It's expensive for such a small bottle, but the results are very satisfying. My finish was an ugly faded gray with smudged spots that wouldn't wash off with the finish restorer or clean up before I applied it. So far it's holding up very well and has withstood washing with soap. A coat of paint about every 6 months, if your car is outside all year round like mine, one bottle is enough for two applications if used correctly. The original color was anthracite, but this material has made my bumper footboard, the edges of my bed and the front plastic parts of the bumper black and it now looks better than the factory. Beautiful shine, deep color. I used a finish restorer and it sucks if you can't BEFORE it's gone. This thing is like an anticonvulsant, it will hit you if you're not careful. Luckily you have a good grace period to wipe it off the paint or off yourself before it gets stuck and dirty.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
