Review on 🧹 Stanley 4.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Tank Wet/Dry Hanging Vacuum with 4 Horsepower by Tim Hull

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great device if you have realistic expectations

Apparently many of the complainers here think that a 7 amp vacuum should be as powerful as a 10+ amp vacuum. Ah no. This unit effectively has the suction power of a good "home" vacuum, a durable metal body and wet/dry cleaning capability. Personally, I like flexible hoses for their easy storage (I've had them on previous vacuums). All the accessories are top notch and I personally prefer the smaller 'house' hose because it's much more flexible and allows me to use the nozzles on traditional vacuums with ease. I haven't had any problems with such a "gasket" between the main unit and the can - no, it doesn't have a gasket, but it creates what is called a "vacuum" that keeps it tight. No, it's not an industrial vacuum cleaner, but that's not being sold or advertised. It's great for basic dust collection from small woodworking tools, but it probably won't do as the main unit for an entire shop setup (which again it's not designed for). Always watch out for bad reviews. coming from whiny people complaining that the product doesn't work the way THEY wanted it to (and more importantly, the way it wasn't designed). A product that works as intended is not a bad product! And that's one of the good ones.
