The iPhone 4s, which was the only model available at the time and brought back the greatest memories of using a mobile device, was the last iPhone I owned, which was in 2022. But the 6th axis' design just didn't sit right with me, so I made the decision to move to Blackberry. Following that, I tried out a number of different Android manufacturers before deciding to stick with Samsung for the past four years. My business gave me the 12th iPhone, so I decided to give it another go; as a result, I'll compare it to the s21 and assess it. Let's begin with the advantages. The phone has a stunning appearance, despite the fact that its sharp edges slightly lessen the overall tactile experience. It is clear that Apple's designers are not wasting their time. Wearing it without a case, though, puts you at risk of having all of its appeal quickly wear off. The shell's design is also excellent. Widgets on iOS are significantly more aesthetically beautiful than those on Android, despite the fact that they aren't as effective. Apple has succeeded in achieving a level of visual coherence across the full display of icons, in contrast to Samsung and other manufacturers. On the other hand, I like a desktop that can be personalized and uses a gesture (swiping from the bottom to the top) to launch the program menu, but Apple does not offer this choice. Everything is beautiful in general, but regrettably that is the extent of the good things. I didn't go to Bangs since I'm an amateur. Since facial recognition is reliable but difficult to utilize in many situations, it is unclear why the sub-screen print has not yet been created (on s21 it works without errors in a split second). The 2022 comes with a proprietary navigation system called CarPlay, however Google Maps lacks sound. It's not a good navigator, this one. The dialer hasn't been updated in 12 years, is frequently unresponsive, and doesn't support speed dialing with alphanumeric characters. It is not possible to transmit what is on the screen on television without additional equipment. Why can't the "back" gesture, which includes swiping from the left edge, be altered? Is there an iPhone for left-handed people? Stretching is a pain, but the Samsung has simple configuration options for everything. You won't be able to watch films or charge your headphones on your phone. But these are only trivial worries. The most crucial factor is a closed system, which everyone once took great pride in, but they now protect their cards with cases and use web-based versions of banking software instead (without face id and other goodies). Generally speaking, I returned to the Samsung a week later and gave the family my iPhone as a gift; right now is most definitely not the best time to move to an Apple device.
