Review on 🚪 Pair of Rear Liftgate Hatch Lift Supports Struts Shocks 6102 for 1999-2003 Lexus RX300 by Jeff Leu

Update - October 21st. Well, in addition to my original comment below, just a few days after installing one of the shocks started popping out of the ball mount. Happened twice in one day so looks like I have a problem with that shock. We write to the supplier, we will look at his answer. I will update. Original Post I got these after not being able to find them anywhere near where I live and struggling to keep a rare lid open with a broom for 6 months (no fun and embarrassing). It happened very easily - some said the holes were misaligned, but the mines went through fine, just a little wobble. People need to pay attention to this part, and its mounting holes need years of abuse and beating, allowing the holes to elongate or warp in some way. In any case, after 10 minutes of removing the old one and installing the new one, I finally have a perfectly working tailgate! They seem very strong and now require little force to bring down, so obviously they give a good amount of tension. I am very satisfied so far, after 2 weeks.
