These Eyedro units are amazing. I needed to better understand my real-time energy consumption and forecast my monthly electricity bills. My entire house is connected to the grid, which can result in my electric bill ranging from $200 to $600 per month depending on the weather and usage. These Eyedro devices provide you with excellent real-time (15 minutes to 24 hours) and summary (monthly/weekly/daily/hourly) consumption and energy cost information. It is also possible to create specific reports with a customizable date range. I've been using it for about 4 months and its consumption and cost are pretty close to my actual electricity bills. I have two power panels (200 amps) at home. I bought two wired versions (Eyedro EHEM1). I have a weak WiFi signal in the basement where the switchboards are, so I connected the 2-wire Eyedro to a wired switch (TL-SF1005D) and then to a Netgear Range Extender (EX2700). Installation was pretty straightforward and the initial setup was easy. Overall I am very satisfied with these devices and their reliability. I would definitely recommend them to anyone trying to control their energy consumption. No more surprises on my electricity bill.
