CIBC - worst bank ever
The staff are very friendly correcting the many errors they make renewing your CDs. I have had problems getting the correct interest rate as well as getting inaccurate balances on renewal applications. You have to keep a close eye on whatever documents you get from this bank. I would give them only two stars because they make every attempt to correct their incompetence in a friendly manner. Open 7am-7pm and open 24 hours? I called at 7am and got the following "all of our banks are closed". I called again at 9:03am again "all of our banks are closed". Is this institution permanently closed???? This bank is so full of BS it ain't even funny.
Their savings rate has dropped from 1. 95 down to 1. 15 in less than 2 months. Stay away from this bank far as you can.
