Review on 🚪 Dorman 901-017 Front Driver Side Door Window Switch for Select Models with Pewter and Black Finish by Thomas Chalecki

I ordered a classic truck retro window kit for my 68ft GMC. The changeover failed within a few weeks and a replacement from the supplier cost 55.00. This Dorman 901-017 was a perfect replacement for the SW100 or 4841-10-002 GM OE STYLE CHROME DUAL DRIVERS SWITCH which costs 30.00. I was wondering if I should have ordered the Dorman 49242 at 11pm but opted for the cheaper option (1pm) instead. I couldn't tell what was different between them and the photos were useless. Both had a longer pin for the orange wire going to the other switch. This one comes with mounting brackets, although Revain says they don't. It was exactly the same quality as my original switch, if not better, at a price that makes it easy to carry a replacement.
