Works on Ford F150 (80-86)

I used it to replace a hard to find and expensive F150 window switch. You will have to shorten one of the pins (easy) and it will fit the factory wiring harness. This works for the drive and passenger side. Save money, restore functionality and keep your door panels looking great at the same time.

VALUE FOR EVERY DOLLAR on Window Regulator

I was very skeptical with how many sellers were selling them and the mixed reviews for each, this one was perfect for an 81k20 door with 89k5 wiring. And the product itself is solidly made, heavy and you won't believe it, it's mostly METAL! YESAAAAAA! lol. WORTH EVERY DOLLAR Now I'll have to wait to see if this actually works. lol. (This is a non-battery project.

Perfect replacement for my 1988 K5 Blazer

Fits my 1988 K5 Blazer and works great. It took me 15 minutes to replace this part. This included watching a YouTube video on how to remove the door. My window switch worked but went off every time I opened the window. I've heard that the contacts on the switch wear out over time. I didn't want to be surprised by a window that didn't open the door for a while, so I replaced it with this one. I'm glad I did!

Works but needs tweaking for '93 GMC Vandura

Just put this in my friend's '93 G2500 Vandura. You need a long connecting pin at the back, shorten it. Worked when hanging from wires when testing. Didn't do that after installing it in the door. Long short. One of the connecting pins on the back of the switch is VERY long and rubbing against the metal door. That's clearly not enough. The passenger window went up, but not down. I trimmed the post to fit without friction. Soft brass is easy to cut. Now it works fine. .and by the way, theโ€ฆ

Perfect replacement for a cheap SWK100 or GM window switch kit 4841-10-002

I ordered a classic truck retro window kit for my 68ft GMC. The changeover failed within a few weeks and a replacement from the supplier cost 55.00. This Dorman 901-017 was a perfect replacement for the SW100 or 4841-10-002 GM OE STYLE CHROME DUAL DRIVERS SWITCH which costs 30.00. I was wondering if I should have ordered the Dorman 49242 at 11pm but opted for the cheaper option (1pm) instead. I couldn't tell what was different between them and the photos were useless. Both had a longer pin forโ€ฆ
