Review on 🚪 Dorman 901-017 Front Driver Side Door Window Switch for Select Models with Pewter and Black Finish by Jonathan Sriubas

Just put this in my friend's '93 G2500 Vandura. You need a long connecting pin at the back, shorten it. Worked when hanging from wires when testing. Didn't do that after installing it in the door. Long short. One of the connecting pins on the back of the switch is VERY long and rubbing against the metal door. That's clearly not enough. The passenger window went up, but not down. I trimmed the post to fit without friction. Soft brass is easy to cut. Now it works fine. .and by the way, the previous switch in the door wasn't broken and had the same problem. Now my friend has 2 of these. Not a big deal for $12. Hope that helps.
