Review on Dorman 924-608 Hazard Warning Switch for Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile Models - Black by Eric Grayson

Firstly this part fits my 1997 Chevrolet K1500. It literally took less than a minute to pull out the old switch and insert the new one (which is why the truck didn't have padding around the steering column). I used a flathead screwdriver to pry off the broken switch. (You can see in the picture where I was able to get under the old one) If you're reinstalling the whole switch assembly, push it down as far as you can. Remember, you might be surprised because if you uninstall/reinstall this part, the horn will probably stop working. The switch itself is of course not as high quality as the original, but it works perfectly. Big deal on that.
