This blade is for finishing plywood, fiberboard and other wood materials. It has fine teeth and produces a clean cut. However, this blade is Porter Cable and works differently on the 4.5 inch Dewalt saw. The rotation is in the opposite direction compared to the Porter wire saw, so the Dewalt requires you to reverse the saw blade to get the teeth rotating in the correct direction. Be sure to pay attention to the direction of rotation indicated by the arrows on the face of the blade, then compare to the arrows on the supplied Dewalt blade (you will see the porter cable is positioned on the machine) , and Dewalt delivers thin, precise cuts with little material tearing.
