Smooth cutting of aged hardwood cabinet

I used this 120 tooth plywood blade to cut a 32 year old hardwood cabinet in my Argosy trailer. Each side must be 57 inches long and 7/16 inches wide to fit the new Dometic fridge. I bought two blades but the first blade still cuts well. Smooth closet cut. It was slow, but the end result was worth it. This blade has done its job.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Long delivery time

PORTER-CABLE 4-1/2 " Plywood Saw Blade 120 Teeth

I bought a saw that uses this size blade. When I tried to buy it at the store they said they couldn't didn't have and find one of their stores that has it. Two go a long way and you can't order them. That helped. Saves you time and money. Be sure to check the mandrel size before buying a blade. This is a 3/8" " Thorn. For those wondering what a mandrel is, it is the size of the hole in the blade that fits the saw arbor to mount it.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent cutting ability for a blade with fine teeth! But short lived

So that was the only 4 1/2" fine tooth saw blade I found. 120 teeth is awesome! 4" melamine shelf without damaging any part of the melamine surface. I complain me that after cutting about 150" of it, the blade dulled and started burning the melamine as it cut. I moved the saw very slowly to avoid overheating the blade and also not damaging the melamine coating. I didn't have any no choice but to continue using the dull blade to finish off the shelf cuts, fortunately the burnt sides are not…

Excellence Blades

I'm new to power tools and didn't realize I needed the right blades for the right job. Yes I'm learning the hard way which is why I'm buying this blade because I used the wrong one. Boy am I pleased with the quality and performance of this blade. I would like to buy it sooner as it works very well for me. I'm not too familiar with brands in general, but the quality on this one is very high. I would also buy it again if I need it, or even consider buying different sets of knives from the same…

Works perfectly. Rear blade when using a Dewalt 4.5 " saw

This blade is for finishing plywood, fiberboard and other wood materials. It has fine teeth and produces a clean cut. However, this blade is Porter Cable and works differently on the 4.5 inch Dewalt saw. The rotation is in the opposite direction compared to the Porter wire saw, so the Dewalt requires you to reverse the saw blade to get the teeth rotating in the correct direction. Be sure to pay attention to the direction of rotation indicated by the arrows on the face of the blade, then compare

  • Something different

Burn baby burn disco hell

This blade dulls incredibly fast. Before buying I read many reviews that this blade dulls quickly. Since there are so few saw blades of this size for plywood, I thought I'd try it out with 120 teeth and see for myself, despite the many reviews. I can say unequivocally that I will not be ordering any more of these canvases. After cutting just a few feet of 3/16 plywood, the blade began to burn through the wood. I managed to finish about 24ft of cuts, but I had to give up the 4ft mark. God awful…
