Great customer support, good wok but maybe not the best

I don't usually leave reviews but the customer service was so good I thought it would be nice to leave a review. We originally received this wok as part of our wedding registry and my wife and I really enjoyed using it. . Unfortunately after just one use the bottom of the wok was damaged (maybe heat damage?), we thought it was just how it looked after "breaking in" but when we used it to cook another dish everything just stuck. to the floor. Luckily I contacted support and they were very helpful and sent us a replacement. I waited a while to write a review because I wanted to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again. The new wok is better, so I guess the original had a flaw, but I'll also say we treat the new wok with care. Now we make sure to use plenty of oil and quickly stir the contents of the wok with a wooden spatula (better than a metal spatula). too much of). Using a lower temperature isn't really a problem as the metal seems thin enough and portable enough that even lower temperatures do enough work for frying. It's a good wok but if you plan to use it intensively I don't think it's the right choice as it seems to need more maintenance. It's nice because you can use it on non-gas stoves! However, if you have a gas stove, you'd probably be happier with a cast iron stove that doesn't have a flat bottom. Overall it's a decent product with great support, but the price can be a bit steep. Caution should be exercised when using it.
