This is the 2nd set of these fenders that I have bought for various cars. This is a smart product! It is a flexible rubber that has a second section molded into a valve designed to fit snugly and contoured to the body of the car or truck. I add them to the same 2006 Mazda Tribute/Ford Escape car. They are easy to install and look perfect. The great thing about the material is that it stays pliable all year round, unlike hard plastics that don't succumb to snow or ice. If you trip over a snowdrift or ice, simply bend or lean over it and instantly snap back into place. They take resistance well, which is why I think this is the best drop bar idea I've seen. Also, they seem to cover the entire hoop well and/or you can position them however you want, easier than most. I've had them on my other car for 2 years now and they've held up great and still protect the Taurus very well.
