Addi Swing Hook tip and edge in good condition. neck/throat holds 2 loops; 3, it starts to slip. The neck is very, VERY short and holds 3-4 loops and is squashed down to 5 loops. Use #4 acrylic yarn - nothing bulky or bulky. Doing a triple stitch US [double crochet UK] is an effort and a mess. Loop sizes are difficult to maintain due to the small size. The handle doesn't fit my hand causing the edge to push my palm out. I wear 7 x 7-1/2 gloves and have long fingers - medium sized gloves. This hook is very uncomfortable for me. It is easy. it looks cool suggest you find one to sample before spending $10-15 to buy it as a talking point. PS I like and recommend one of my new favorites, the Addi Comfort Grip Crochet Hook instead of the Swing.
