I love that it has integrated with my EMR, so I can pull up a patient's notes straight from their chart. It also integrates well with various other software applications in our facility (Cerner). The only thing I dislike about Medchat is how difficult it is to navigate without having some sort of prior knowledge or training. If you are familiar with computers, this will be easy to pick up after using it once. We use Medchat primarily as a point of contact between patients and providers while they're waiting for appointments at a clinic that we do not own/own staff there. This allows us to see what questions patients may have before seeing them and helps to prevent any awkward situations where a provider comes into a room expecting one type of interaction when instead he gets another entirely different kind.
