Track and stopper are excellent products

I am very happy with my Kreg tracker and stopper system. Installing a miter saw with stop system is a must in my opinion. The old tape measure/pencil mark/trace mark and cut method is such a waste of time that I'm amazed when I see builders doing it. Do you need 8 cripples of 33 inches? Set your stroke and chop as fast as you can. And they will be perfect. I've been using Beismeyer stops for 10 years and they work well. But they're so proud of their little stopper that looks like it was made in a garage that they think it's worth over $100. For that price I bought 2 4 inch rails and a flipstop instead. It works in every way and was easier to set up. So my advice is this: don't buy a miter saw without installing a table, fence and locking system. Of course, it takes a few hours and costs $100, but it's worth it. I'd rather have a cheaper miter saw than forgo the fence system. Whenever you use a roulette wheel, you are wasting time. -Steve. My only minor complaint is the easy play in the flip stop. tightened the nut and made it a non-tilting stop for thin furniture. For a construction site and most projects, a flip-up fixture would be fine, but I had to buy a used "production stop" to get the best accuracy.
