Review on Walker SoundFX 18895 Performance Exhaust Muffler for Enhanced Engine Sound and Performance by Zach Clements

NO DIRECT CONNECTION. I do not think so. I had to buy an adapter to couple the muffler to the exhaust system. I had to stretch the hangers to fit. I had to cut a hole in the rear bumper cover to ensure the exhaust pipe was seated correctly. But otherwise it fits perfectly. lol. Good thing it's a cheap commuter car.
