Exactly what I needed. Almost half the price of the same kit from a nearby discount store. It includes a water pump. Needs come off first and come back last. It would be a lot easier if he said so. This is because it's on the longest section of the belt, so it's at the best leverage point. Also pay attention to the bushing in the tensioner. This sleeve fell off when I sat for a while and I left the place. Almost got it back without that sleeve. It's just a simple bushing that sits in the bolt hole for this tensioner. The guide I am linking to is my automatic guide. It's not those Gates boys' fault. Also note that I used a chain wrench to remove the main pulley/harmonic balancer. This destroyed the harmonic balancer. Both of my guides recommended a chain wrench (again without reference to the instructions included with that kit). That mistake cost me $150. Look online for other ways to do this. For liability reasons, I can't recommend any of them. But most harmonic balancers have 4 holes that you can use. and another way that is even easier. All methods have great dangers. Be very careful and take small steps whenever you can. Protect yourself and others. As good as this kit is, and it was perfect, the Harmonic Balancer is so difficult to remove that you really should consider having it repaired in a workshop. It took over 170 ft lbs to break out the big bolt. But. I was 100% successful and all my fingers are still intact. This greatly affected the smoothness of my car. I'm surprised it's so important. But my old belt was very loose. I would go every day.
