Review on Delphi HFP923 Mechanical Fuel Pump by Kelvin Ward

The second photo in the description showing the bottom of the pump clearly shows the "Made in America" engraving on the base plate. Attached photos show what you will actually receive. Very disappointing. I've really lost faith in the accuracy of Revane's descriptions. I can return that, but to be honest this is probably the only source for these pumps at the moment as it seems they also make Carter pumps. Luckily this is now just a backup for the motor driven lift pump and as long as it works to fill the system that's all it takes, the rest of the time it will be off. For anyone wondering, Glacier Diesel Power has an engine driven pump that is much easier to install than FASS or Airdog. Good luck using this as your only lift pump. I wouldn't risk my $1400 VP44 and get stuck with this pump alone. :(
