I make custom cosplay plushies (e.g. shoulder dragons) and have never been satisfied with hand-painted details and trying to achieve beautiful gradients was extremely difficult. My husband advised me to try airbrushing. After some research I came across this listing and decided to get it without the air tank. You can get them cheaper at Port Freight if I decide I want. I was surprised that the compressor is actually quiet (compared to the compressors I've had before) and even if it's on all the time while I'm at work my husband can still be on the other side with his friends of the room play without complaining. Weapons (2Gravity Well Fed) are easy to use and quick to master. They are difficult to clean, but I feel like that comes with the territory. I clean them before and after each use just in case I missed a bit of color when I did mine after cleaning. Now I admit that when I bought it I only read that it comes with 3 guns, I didn't read what they were for. I was excited when I read what they were for. If 2 are metal, you have a "big" zone cannon (I use it the most) and a detail cannon. The latter is used for cooking or makeup. Haven't used it yet but as a cosplayer I'm excited to try it for my next big makeup job. Overall I'm very happy with this set and would recommend it to anyone, not just beginners. Oh, and buy lots of cleaner
