This beautifully made shaker (I use it for grated cheese - the holes are the perfect size!) was a great purchase. Great value for money, fast service/delivery and a nice feature with a tight fitting plastic lid that keeps air and moisture out while the cheese is in! I read the reviews before buying and some buyers had trouble removing the metal shaker lid after filling the shaker. I recommend looking at the 2 small notches on the top of the shaker before using it. They should line up with the two metal tabs on the inside of the shaker's metal lid. Slide down and twist slightly to secure the top of the shaker. Reverse the process when you want to fill a shaker or break a cheese! I had no problems with either the metal lid or the plastic lid on the metal surface. Beautiful shaker made of stainless steel. Can also be used for pepperoni flakes! I think I persuaded myself to order another one!🤣Jim M.
