The description says it is an 11oz shaker. When I ordered I thought it would be the size of a tin can or relatively close. Judging by the picture, this is far from the case. It's about 7 ounces. This is really disappointing because I only bought it because of its size, it would fit an entire batch or my dry rub, and it would have an airtight lid. Super disappointed with wrong size ad. It's not worth my time coming back, I'll eventually find another use for it. Next time I'll go to Walmart.

Lid does not come off easily, making it a nuisance to use. I read other reviews that pointed out possible problems with the lid so I ordered 2 different shakers. I'm the same height as Tom Brady and I train. If I poke my nails under the lid, pull and pull, working in circles, the lid suddenly flies off. Very beautiful, well made, just what I needed for cleaning. I see a lot of people complaining about removing the lid, well the lid has a locking mechanism consisting of two internal dents on the lid and two channels on the shaker in an L shape if you're not careful and the lid down without press If you use the channels on the lid, it will be difficult to remove. This beautifully made shaker (I use it for grated cheese - the holes are the perfect size!) was a great purchase. Great value for money, fast service/delivery and a nice feature with a tight fitting plastic lid that keeps air and moisture out while the cheese is in! I read the reviews before buying and some buyers had trouble removing the metal shaker lid after filling the shaker.
