I bought this gadget to make working from home on two screens a reality with my Lenovo Yoga X1. w2207 with 22" flat screen and 24" Samsung SyncMaster T24B350 TV/monitor. The only problem I've had with this adapter is that the signal to one of my two monitors sometimes, but not often, doesn't work when I first connect the device to my laptop. The simple fix is to unplug the HDMI cable from the end of the adapter for the device that isn't working, plug it back in and whoops - it's back. It might get a little warm but not hot enough to be a problem. The video quality of the adapter is excellent. When I connect my main display directly to my laptop, there is no noticeable difference with this adapter.
